Myon Burrell is released from the Stillwater Correctional Facility after serving 18 years for a crime he says he never committed. He had been serving time for the 2002 death of 11-year old Tyesha Edwards before the state commuted his sentence.
Protesters marched the half mile from Wilder Playground to the St. Paul Police at Minnehaha & Payne where they heard from speakers on racial inequality and the need for defunding/abolishing the police.
